How to Be a Good Cutomer :)

Ever thought much about how you dispose of your trash? Probably not much at all. Here are some good garbage practices to keep your space clean and tidy while keeping our workers safe.

  • Always bag your items before putting in the toter. Loose items will often become stuck to the bottom or fall out.

  • Kitty litter should be carefully bagged - double bagging can even add an extra layer of protection. Also consider it's weight to help save our workers' backs. Loose kitty litter will become like a cement paste that cannot be removed from your toter.

  • Although uncommon, it should be mentioned that animal carcasses must be double bagged. Please no skunks for any reason.

  • The lid should close; if it doesn't call ahead and notify us of an oversize pickup. You're allowed this once a month for no charge with notification to the office.

Why Do We Require Our Toters?

We ask for all our customers to use our toters for their waste for several reasons.

  • We believe that by using these we are making our best effort to condense waste so it does not get disturbed by late-night animals or inclement weather. We appreciate the communities we work in and we want to keep them free of free-flying waste.

  • Toters also provide our drivers with a visual guide. Our trucks run at night so when you wake up, your trash will have "disappeared." Routes are more efficient this way and you don't have to get stuck behind a stinky garbage truck on your way to work (at least not OURS anyway). A

  • All Wisneski's toters are warranted. If something happens to your toter, just let us know! We will either fix or replace it.

  • You will never have to buy another toter again. We aren't trying to make a business off of selling toters; it sounds both boring and kind of odd. We just want to provide the best service we can for each and every one of customers!
